Handle Your Workplace Conflict Effectively
Four 1:1 Coaching Sessions with Amanda Warner
Hey Lovely!
At the end of this 1-month package, you will have learned and executed on the exact techniques you need to manage your workplace conflict with professionalism and ease.
Does this sound familiar…
Dealing with a boss who can not take feedback?
Working with a teammate you can’t get along with?
Managing an employee who won’t get the message?
Frustrated, hurt, or stressed at work?
Whatever your position + problem, if there is a breakdown in communication, I can help.
I’ve Been In Your Shoes
When it came to conflict in the workplace, I struggled in so many ways; to have the confidence to talk to my boss if something they said hurt or upset me, when my co-worker would miss the deadline I was depending on, I’d let it slide, again and again.
Conflict is especially stressful at work because it is a high-stakes relationship. It not only impacts your emotional wellbeing every single day, it can threaten your financial security.
Only once we are thriving emotionally, may we reach our true potential professionally.
Why I’m The Right Coach For You
Being a woman in the workforce in 2022 requires a certain insider perspective to really get it. Unlike other conflict resolution practitioners, I solely work with women.
In each session, I take my education in group dynamics and human evolution and combine it with the practical skills you need to learn to deal with the emotions, assumptions, biases, judgment and power dynamics embedded in your unique work environment.
My knowledge of dispute resolution extends beyond conflict coaching; I have trained in mediation, negotiation, ethics and the management of hostile individuals from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Aside from working for myself as a coach, I worked for three years as an employee; at a non-profit, a law firm and a co-working space.
By the end of this package you will…
Based on your specific position and conflict, we will tweak these learnings to best serve you!
Know how to manage your emotions. The better you are at self-regulation the easier you can manage whatever your workday brings.
Give and receive feedback effectively. If you need to work on taking feedback we will tackle any triggers, underlying insecurities or inner-voices popping up to hold you back. If you are looking to give feedback more effectively, we will work on balancing empathy and assertion.
Deal with hostile or unsafe individuals. I will give you the tools you need to defuse heightened conversations and action steps if/when a working environment become psychologically unsafe.
Know what you want and need to say - and actually follow through with it. No garbled words here. We will have you fully confident in knowing your heart and speaking your mind.
Have the skillset to effectively problem solve in the moment. New issues will pop up throughout your working life, you need to be skilled in adapting to where the other person is at. While we can’t predict every scenario, roleplaying each week will be essential to this.
Have learned how to brainstorm real and tangible solutions so you can get back to work. Once we have the process of communicating effectively mastered, we will practise brainstorming possible solutions that may meet the needs of both parties and are going to last.
Know how to pitch more effective workplace conflict management practices to your bosses and colleagues for adoption.

FAQ
My conflict at work is over something silly, is this package right for me?
Any conflict that is causing you stress is worth getting proper support for. Often it’s not the content of what is being discussed that is so difficult, it’s the way it’s being handled and the emotions involved.
My workplace conflict has been going on for over a year, is this package right for me?
Let’s jump on a call and determine if your goals for long-term resolution would be better suited for my standard 3-month coaching offering, (you will be able to learn the same workplace strategies in either of these packages). Clients dealing with a workplace conflict often start with this package and then upgrade to the 3-month one after, either to continue or get help with another type of conflict.
I need to prepare for a difficult conversation in my workplace, can I do your one-day intensive instead?
The one-day intensive is only designed for friends and family. Workplace is its own special area of expertise, and it requires more longterm support that is conducive to regular format coaching.
Why is the package four sessions? Does it have to be once per week? Can we just do one?
My workplace offering is four weeks because that is generally the amount of time I have found necessary for clients to effectively take control of a challenging situation, see results, and follow up with me for additional support.
My standard 3-month offering, “Your Conflict, Transformed” also covers workplace conflicts, so for those looking for ongoing support, it is the more cost effective option.
Remember, conflict coaching is not a one session fix-all. Similar to therapy, we build on our progress each week. The goal is to learn the skills necessary to get you managing your conflict independently, but just like a coach for professional football, players don’t stop needing or wanting coaching once they go pro.
What makes a coach invaluable is the ongoing support and refinement of skills they provide you over time.
Is this package refundable?
My in-person coaching sessions are non-refundable. Before you commit to doing this work, I ask you to be 100% ready for change! You can request a free 60-minute consult call at the bottom of this page.
