Frequently Asked Questions

What is conflict coaching?

Conflict coaching is a collaborative and creative process between coach and client to help the client learn skills for handling conflict in a more effective manner and choosing what they want to do next with clarity and confidence.*

*Please note that coaching is not therapy. There is no assessment, diagnosis, or prescriptions. If therapy is a better fit, I will let you know during our initial consult, no stress.

What is the difference between a consult and a session?

My free 60-minute consultation is an opportunity to explore if coaching is the right fit for you.

If you decide I am right for you, you can register for a paid session. This session involves an hour of further prep on my part before our call.

PS. for our consults and sessions, we’re going old school, audio only. So come as you are and let’s get to work!

Is my conflict serious enough?

Any inter-personal or inner conflict you are experiencing is worth asking me about to see if coaching with me would be the right fit. Your consultation call and any subsequent sessions are confidential.

How old are you?

I am 25 years old.

What are your credentials?

In 2020, I began part-time studies in conflict resolution at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

I graduated in March 2022 with a Certificate in Mediation and Third Party Intervention and an Associate Certificate in Conflict Coaching.

These programs total over two hundred and fifty hours of training and final assessments.*

Previously, I graduated from McGill University in 2019 with a degree in History and minors in International Relations and Canadian Ethnic and Racial Studies.

*Conflict coaching and mediation are unregulated industries in British Columbia, Canada. Be careful when hiring a coach or mediator - ensure that they have sufficient training and experience.
